Country music legend Loretta Lynnn is getting some much needed rest. Lynn is canceling two shows in Iowa in the midst of her three-week tour.
A statement on her website says the 81-year-old singer is taking some time off to be treated for exhaustion.
"Country Music Legend Loretta Lynn postpones Iowa shows after a grueling Canadian tour. Lynn’s representative stated 'Lynn started feeling poorly midway through her three week tour. Loretta is a pro and wants to give her fans the best show possible. She felt she Physically was unable to do that.' Lynn is taking some much needed time off and being treated for exhaustion, she hopes that everyone will understand and is rescheduling both shows."
She had just finished the Canadian leg of her tour and began feeling under the weather. Lynn is expected to reschedule the Iowa dates. "The Coal Miner's Daughter" singer postponed two shows last year to undergo therapy following knee replacement surgery.
Get well soon Loretta!
